A new gameplay video for the
PC edition of
Assassin's Creed Syndicate has come online. The video, published by Nvidia and narrated by creative director Marc-Alexis Cote, showcases the game's PC-specific features. Cote talks about how things like temporal anti-aliasing, horizon-based ambient occlusion, and percentage-closer soft shadows all help make the game's version of 1868 London look as good as can be.
The Syndicate video uses a comparison slider to showcase the differences in presentation when those features are switched on or off. Take a look at the three-minute video above, which you can assume was captured on a high-end PC.
Nvidia has also announced that you can get a free copy of Syndicate on PC with the purchase of a select Nvidia GPU, including the GeForce GTX 980 Ti, 980, or 970, or any 970M or above notebook. More details about this free game offer are
available at Nvidia's website.
Syndicate launched on October 23 for
Xbox One and
PS4 and received a
generally positive critical response, including an
8/10 from GameSpot. For more on the PC edition, which is
slated to arrive on November 19,
